Lee Valley Park Development Framework Consultation

12/11/2014

The Park Authority (LVRPA) is in the process of preparing a suite of documents, the Park Development Framework (PDF), which will establish their aspirations and specific proposals for the future use and development of the Regional Park.

This is a phased process with priority being given to areas where significant change within or adjacent to the Park is planned.  Once it has been completed it is intended that these area proposals will completely replace the 2000 Park Plan.

The LVRPA  are now consulting on our proposals for the northern sections of the Park; Areas 6, 7 and 8 which start with the River Lee Country Park in Waltham Abbey, and continue through to the northern most tip of the Park adjacent to the Lee Navigation in Ware, East Hertfordshire.

Comments on these important proposals for the future of the Regional Park are now invited.  The consultation documents below include the written schedules of Proposals for Area 6 River Lee Country Park, Area 7 Spitalbrook, Nazeing and Roydon and Area 8 Stanstead, Amwell and Ware, together with their respective thematic proposal maps.

Baseline documents include the Landscape Sensitivity Study (2014), the Carthagena Environmental Strategy (Sept 2012), the Spitalbrook Environmental Strategy (Nov 2012), the Wharf Road Environmental Strategy (Feb 2013), and the 6 Thematic baseline maps for each area.

Comments are welcome by email to planning@leevalleypark.org.uk
